The appellant demurred to the complaint, and thereupon the motion for judgment against him on the pleadings was made1 and granted. The complaint contains four counts on separate causes of action, for work, • labor and services, consisting of dredging, performed by the plaintiff for the W. H. Beard Dredging Company, which was a corporation duly organized under the laws of West. Virginia, and for the rent of a scow.
