Defendant has appealed from a sentence of imprisonment in the State Penitentiary for a term of five years imposed upon him pursuant to a jury verdict finding him guilty of assault with intent to rape a female child aged six years and five months. He urges reversal of the judgment on grounds no submissible case was made, error in permitting the child to testify, error in overruling objections made to allegedly prejudicial statements of the prosecuting attorney during the course of the trial and in final argument and the refusal of motions for mistrial based…
