MEMORANDUM OPINION

REBECCA BEACH SMITH, District Judge.

This case involves the alleged infringement of United States Patent No. 5,355,-964 (“'964 Patent”). On October 7, 2009, plaintiff American Piledriving Equipment, Inc. (“APE”) and defendant Geoquip, Inc. (“Geoquip”) came before this court, pursuant to Markman v. Westview Instruments, Inc., 517 U.S. 370, 116 S.Ct. 1384, 134 L.Ed.2d 577 (1996), to argue their proposed constructions of the four claim terms and phrases currently in dispute: (1) “eccentric weight portion,” (2) “integral,” (3) “insert-receiving area,” and (4) “connected to.”…
