Travis Bryant appeals from the denial of his motion 1 to withdraw plea. We conclude that the trial court erred in failing to appoint conflict-free counsel to represent Bryant in the motion to withdraw plea proceedings.

Pursuant to a plea agreement, Bryan entered a nolo contendere plea to aggravated battery with great bodily harm and domestic battery by strangulation in exchange for the State’s decision to drop a third charge.
