OPINION

BASS, Justice.

Appellant, David Wayne Edlund, was indicted for the murder of 69 year old Howard C. Davis. Trial was to a jury which, after returning a guilty verdict, assessed punishment at life imprisonment.

We affirm.

On March 11, 1982, W.A. Chaloupka discovered the partially decomposed body of his wife’s uncle in Pearland, Brazoria County. The police investigation revealed that the victim had been dead for three to four weeks and that several of his personal effects and 1977 Oldsmobile Omega were missing.
