In September, 1912, the Quanah, Acme & Pacific Railway Company, a corporation, duly organized under the laws of the state of Texas, contracted with the Southwestern Construction Company, another corporation duly organized under the laws of the state of Texas, to do all the work and furnish all of the material necessary to the construction of the roadbed and to lay the track for a line of railway from Padu-cah, in Cottle county, Tex., to a. point in Motley county, Tex., a distance of approximately 40 miles.
