This is an appeal from an order denying disconnection of petitioners’ properties from a fire protection district. In 1975, a group of property owners petitioned for annexation of certain territory to the Carol Stream Fire Protection District (hereinafter FPD). This territory included property owned by the petitioners in the instant action. The trial court ordered the annexation following approval by a majority of the voters in the territory.
