This is an action to recover damages for a broken leg suffered by plaintiff in falling down two steps leading to a lavatory which was part of a cafe owned and operated by defendant in or near the city of Bakersfield. The jury returned a verdict for defendant and plaintiff has appealed from the judgment entered on the verdict.
