After Mychal Fair was shot and killed on the premises of the Underground Atlanta shopping and entertainment district, his parents Michael Fair and Elizabeth Flynn (“appellants”) brought this wrongful death action in the Superior Court of Fulton County against CV Underground, LLC, and Underground Management, LLC (collectively, “Underground”), as the occupier of the property, and IPC International Corporation, which was under contract to provide security services.
