This is an action on a life insurance policy by Doris Williams, the widow, as the primary beneficiary. The defendant, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, defended on the ground that the decedent had misrepre sented the condition of his health in various application documents, and, alternatively, that the policy never took effect.
