BENTON, Judge.

Martha Lee Gilbert was fired for absenteeism. She does not dispute the facts set out in the appeals referee’s order, which was adopted by the Unemployment Appeals Commission:

The claimant began her employment with the Department of Corrections on March 10, 1995, and was employed as a correctional officer at Jackson Correctional Institution. The claimant was on probationary status for the first year of her employment.
