This is an action brought by the plaintiff for damages sustained by her when she fell and injured her right limb at defendant’s place of business, namely, at the Stevens’ elevator. The jury returned a verdict in favor-of the plaintiff in the sum of $1,850 and against the defendants, E. S. Woodworth & Co. and H. A. Stevens. From an order denying a motion for new trial and from the judgment, each defendant has appealed separately.
