Defendant, Forum Insurance Company (Forum), brings this interlocutory appeal pursuant to Illinois Supreme Court Rule 308 (134 Ill. 2d R. 308). Plaintiff, Anthony Ardagh Cassidy (Cassidy), filed a complaint against Forum and certain other defendants not involved in this appeal, alleging breach of certain contracts of reinsurance and breach of fiduciary duty. In his complaint, Cassidy attempted to bring suit in both an individual and representative capacity.
