After pleading guilty to one count of second degree child rape, Michael Crider was sentenced to a standard range term of fifty-one months. Mr. Crider contends the State breached the plea agreement and he was denied his right of allocution. We vacate the judgment and remand for resentencing.
On August 27, 1993, Mr. Crider was charged with child rape in the second degree. He struck a plea bargain, the most crucial feature of which is that the prosecution would recommend a Special Sexual Offender Sentencing Alternative (SSOSA) if the presentence report supported such a recommendation.
