The facts clearly show that during the period from January 1, 1930, to January 8, 1936, plaintiff’s mother was dependent upon him for her chief support. The mother’s investment of $14,000 received from her husband’s business upon his death in 1927 was worthless prior to and during' the period of the claim herein from January 1, 1930, to January 8, 1932.
