SMITH, District Judge..This is an appeal from a decree in admiralty of the District Court of Maryland, filed August 11, 1920. There is a large mass of testimonj^, but the general facts of the case are fully set out in the opinion of the learned District Judge, filed April 2, 1920.
From the testimony and the opinion of the court it appears that the steamship Virginia belonging to the Baltimore Steam Packet Company, which company was owned by the Seaboard Air Line Railway Company, was taken over by the government of the United States when it took over the rest of the property of the Seaboard Air…
