OPINION
PEAY, Judge.
The petitioner was convicted by a jury of second-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder, from which no appeal was perfected. He has filed this petition for post-conviction relief alleging that he re*357ceived ineffective assistance of counsel because his lawyer failed to file an appeal on his behalf. After a hearing, the court below denied relief. After reviewing the record, we affirm the judgment below.
