*861Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Lasak, J.), rendered May 21, 2008, convicting him of robbery in the first degree, assault in the first degree, robbery in the second degree, and assault in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.
