GIBBONS, Circuit Judge.
Defendant-appellant Gregory Darnell Gillis appeals the district court’s decision denying his motion to suppress evidence obtained as the result of a warrantless search of a residence on November 7, 2001. Police obtained consent to search from Gillis’s girlfriend, Shaneska Williams, after she informed them that she had seen Gillis and several others smoking marijuana and cooking crack cocaine inside the house earlier that morning.
