Appellant, Tony Brown, prosecutes this appeal to reverse judgment of the circuit court, entered in conformity with verdict of the trial jury, sentencing him to death for the crime of murder "in the first degree.

These assignments of error are argued by appellant here: (I) That the lower court erred in not directing the jury to return a verdict of “not guilty.” (II) That the lower court erred in admitting in evidence confessions of appellant.
