Michael A. French and wife, Misti Michelle French, sued, among others, Brian James Gill and Giuseppe V. Riccio, d/b/a Tigers Trucking Company, in state district court for negligence involving an automobile accident that occurred January 29, 2002, in Wood County, Texas. The trial court granted a motion for traditional summary judgment to Gill and Riccio, concluding the Frenches had failed to file their lawsuit within the applicable two-year statute of limitations.
