Mingus v. Wadley, 115 Tex. 551, 285 S.W. 1084, and many decisions following it, leave no escape from the conclusion expressed in the majority opinion to the effect that as to a suit to recover compensation under authority of the Workmen’s Compensation Law (V. A. C. S. Arts. 8306-8309a), only courts of the county in which the injury occurs have jurisdiction. Within the necessary meaning of this proposition the word “jurisdiction” is used in the sense of jurisdiction of the subject matter or potential jurisdiction; since under the facts of this case jurisdiction…
