This action is brought to recover the value of goods sold and delivered to the Belen Agricultural & Mining Company, a corporation organized under the laws of New York, of which defendant was a trustee, on the ground that no annual report was filed as prescribed by statute, either in January, 1884, or January, 1885. Said goods consisted of camp supplies, and were furnished on the Isthmus of Panama, (where it was intended that the practical operations of said corporation should be carried on,) to one Hector J Kingman, the superintendent of the company.
