JAMES EDWARD WELSH, Judge.

Wayne C. Johnson appeals the circuit court’s judgment convicting him of unlawful use of a weapon, assault of a law enforcement officer in the second degree, and armed criminal action. Johnson asserts the circuit court (1) abused its discretion in allowing the State to introduce evidence of uncharged crimes into the rec ord, (2) committed plain error in convicting and sentencing Mm for armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon, and (3) committed plain error in denying him the opportunity to speak on his own behalf at sentencing. We affirm.
