Recapitulating, briefly, the main facts of this case: In May, 1894, Ermance Doucet (wife of Eli Ledoux) and Marie Doucet (wife of Jean N. Simon), daughters of Achille Doucet, deceased, brought suit against their mother, who was insane, and against their' four brothers, who were minors, for the partition of a quarter section (161.22 acres) of land (being the N. W. % of section 29, township 8 S., range 1 W.) in the parish of Acadia, which they alleged was indivisible in kind and should be sold. - At their instance William Reed was appointed curator ad hoc, to represent…
