DECISION AND ORDER

MARRERO, District Judge.

Plaintiff Nancy Douglas (“Douglas”) brought this case alleging that she was denied disability benefits under the Barron’s Educational Series Inc. Long Term Disability Plan (the “Plan”) by its administrator, defendant First Unum Life Insurance Company (“Unum”). Pursuant to the Employment Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1001, et. seq., Douglas seeks to recover benefits that she claims are due to her under the Plan, to clarify her rights to future benefits under the Plan, and to recover attorney’s fees and costs.
