This action was brought to obtain a declaratory judgment that appellant’s rights as a veteran with permanent status in the classified civil service had been violated, as well as a decree reinstating him in his former position. On the merits, appellant’s principal contentions appear to have been answered adversely to him, in recent authoritive decisions. See Elder v.
