Benjamin E Demond (petitioner) appeals from orders of the circuit court of Madison County disposing of several motions filed subsequent to a judgment of dissolution. He claims (1) the court had no authority to order him to pay past-due child support and maintenance amounts which had accrued prior to the dissolution judgment but which were not mentioned in that judgment, (2) the court had no authority to modify the property distribution contained in the judgment, and (3) the court abused its discretion in refusing to reduce the amount of maintenance awarded to respondent.
