The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Highways, appeals from a judg ment awarding A. F. Blanton $16,200 for property taken and damages to the remainder of his property in the condemnation of a strip of land for the purpose of widening a highway in the City of Ashland. The jury made a segregation of the damages in its verdict, awarding $9,000 for the land taken and $7,200 as damages to the remaining property.
