Thomas and Patricia Jackson (“plaintiffs”) commenced this action individually and as purported members of three putative classes seeking to hold Wells Fargo Bank (“WFB”) and Wells Fargo Insurance, Inc. (“WFI”) (collectively “defendants”) liable for alleged improper practices related to flood insurance undertaken in conjunction with the mortgage underwriting process.
