ROBINSON, J.
The defendant, Jasmine Bereis, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of evasion of responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle in violation of General Statutes § 14-224 (b) and failure to appear in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-173. On appeal, the defendant claims that the trial court improperly denied her motion for a judgment of acquittal because the evidence was insufficient to support her conviction. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
