Following a jury trial, defendant, Kerry L. Thorne, appeals as of right her conviction of larceny in a building, MCL 750.360. For the reasons explained in this opinion, we affirm.

On April 12, 2016, defendant and the victim were playing slot machines next to each other at the Odawa Casino in Petoskey, Michigan. When the victim left her slot machine to use the restroom, defendant took the victim's TITO 1 out of the slot machine that the victim had been playing.
