Tins is an original suit by J. G. McGrady against J. J. Terrell, Commissioner of the General Land Office, for a writ of mandamus to compel the Commissioner to accept the relator’s application to purchase a tract of land belonging to the free school fund of the State of Texas, particularly described in the petition.
