ASHWORTH, J,

Presently before this court are defendant Joy M. O’Shea-Woomer’s petitions for writ of habeas corpus and for bail. For the reasons set forth below, this court must deny both petitions.

I. PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND

On October 8,2008, defendant was charged with one count of criminal homicide, 18Pa.C.S. §2501,1 one count of drug delivery resulting in death, 18 Pa.C.S. §2506, and one count of delivery of controlled substance, 35 P.S. §780-113(a)(30).
