Dear Mr. Bosson:

This is in response to your request for an opinion on three questions involving the procedure for revocation of probation. You note, initially, that A.C.A. § 5-4-309 authorizes a law enforcement officer to arrest a defendant without a warrant if the officer has reasonable cause to believe that the defendant has failed to comply with a condition of his suspension or probation.
