This proceeding was originated by the petition for a writ of habeas corpus of Eric M. Gordon, sworn to on July 25, 2014 and originally filed in Erie County. Petitioner’s affidavit, in support of petition for writ of habeas corpus, also sworn to on July 25, 2014, was filed in Erie County along with the petition. By transfer order dated October 9, 2014 the Supreme Court, Erie County, ordered that this proceeding be transferred to Franklin County where petitioner was — and remains — confined in the custody of the New York State Department of Corrections…
