In 1827, one Ebenezer G. Duffey, being the owner of 303f-acres of land, to-wit: lot No. 254, and one half of lot No. 255,. in what was originally Houston, now Crawford county in this. State, conveyed the same, by deed, to Daniel Duffey, his father. The only consideration mentioned in the deed, is the sum of $1000, which the bargainer acknowledges to have received as-payment in full for the land, and immediately follows a clause,, exonerating the bargainee therefrom.
