NIEMEYER, Circuit Judge:

Following a six-day trial, a jury convicted Quintin Bell of (1) possession with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841 (a)(1) ; (2) possession with intent to distribute a quantity of heroin and cocaine base, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841 (a)(1) ; (3) possession of a firearm as a felon, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922 (g)(1) ; and (4) possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924 (c)(1)(A).
