This case, comes up by writ of error -from the circuit court for the district of Columbia and county of Washington.
The, suit was brought by the plaintiffs in error against - the, defendant, as the indorser of a promissory note of Daniel Reintzel for $3700, payable 60 days after date, and-dated , the 6th of May 1819.' The only question in the cause turns upon the sufficiency^ of the notice to the defendant, the circumstances attending which appear in a bill of exceptions taken by the plaintiffs to the opinion of the court.
