This is a litigation between a brother and sister for the custody of a child of the brother. The child is now eleven years of age. The father, Frederick V. Strohsahl, is a resident of the State of New Jersey. In the fall of 1917 he suffered from an attack of dementia melancholia and was duly committed to a New Jersey State hospital for the insane under an act substantially s’milar to the New York State Insanity Law.
