Before the court are claims for equitable distribution of the parties’ marital assets, alimony, counsel fees, costs and expenses. Hearings addressing all claims were held on Septem*511ber 19, 2006 and February 21, 2007. A transcript was prepared and both parties submitted proposed findings of fact, conclusions of law, and orders.
