On March 19, 1993, plaintiffs Intertec Contracting A/S, Intertec (Gibraltar) Ltd. and Intertec Overseas Limited (collectively Intertec) entered into a subcontract with defendant Turner Steiner East Asia Limited (TSEAL), as general contractor, to perform, inter alia, electrical, plumbing and other mechanical work on a multi-million dollar construction project to erect twin 39-story high rise office towers in Sri Lanka.
