*499In a family offense proceeding pursuant to Family Court Act article 8, the father appeals from an order of protection of the Family Court, Suffolk County (MacKenzie, J.), dated April 7, 2005, which, after a hearing and upon a finding that he committed acts which constituted, inter alia, the offenses of harassment and menacing, directed him to stay away from the petitioner and her home until April 7, 2006.
