Antonio Carter was convicted after a jury trial of carjacking, strong arm robbery, and felony driving while license revoked. He was sentenced to three concurrent sentences — for carjacking, 40 years as an habitual offender with a prison releasee reoffender mandatory minimum of 30 years; for robbery, 30 years as an habitual offender with a prison releasee reoffender mandatory minimum of 15 years; and, for the felony driving charge, 5 years as an habitual offender.
