*654 Marvin Burton Harris, Jr. ("Defendant") appeals from judgments entered after a jury found him guilty of possession of a firearm *731 by a felon, carrying a concealed weapon, and resisting a public officer.

Officer Joshua Scales ("Officer Scales"), of the Morehead City Police Department, received a radio dispatch at approximately 2:00 a.m. on 13 November 2014 about a "suspicious subject" in the vicinity of Brook Street in Morehead City, North Carolina.
