Zeitvogel v. State
Missouri Court of Appeals
1Opinion of the Court
NUGENT, Judge.
On January 8, 1985, a jury convicted Richard Zeitvogel of capital murder1 for killing his cellmate in the Missouri State Penitentiary, and the court sentenced him to death. The Missouri Supreme Court affirmed his conviction and sentence in State v. Zeitvogel, 707 S.W.2d 365 (Mo.1986) (en banc), cert. denied, 479 U.S. 871, 107 S.Ct. 243, 93 L.Ed.2d 168. The current appeal arises from the hearing court’s denial of his Rule 27.262 motion in which he alleged that he was denied effective assistance of counsel. We affirm.
