_Jj21st Century Premier Insurance Company (21st Century) appeals the trial court’s denial of a directed verdict on the type of surgery required by the plaintiff, Brittainey Huntley (Ms. Huntley) for injuries to her lumbar spine allegedly sustained through the fault of its insured Mrs. Lula Lene. 21st Century also appeals those portions of the unanimous jury verdict awarding Ms. Huntley special damages of $127,600.00 for future medical expenses for a lumbar laminectomy, dis-cectomy, and fusion with instrumentation, general damages of $150,000.00 for past and future pain and…
