In a child support proceed ing pursuant to Family Court Act article 4, the father appeals from an order of commitment of the Family Court, Queens County (Heffernan, J.), dated October 11, 2005, which committed him to the custody of the New York City Department of Corrections for consecutive weekends from October 14, 2005 through April 16, 2006, unless he purged himself of his contempt by paying the sum of $18,500 to the New York City Office of Child Support Enforcement.
