Defendant Joseph Arthur Lagasse appeals his conviction of two counts of unlawful sexual contact, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 255(1)(C) (Supp.1989), and one count of gross sexual misconduct, Id. § 253 (Supp. 1989), following a jury trial in the Superior Court (Androscoggin County, Bradford, J.). On appeal, defendant argues that the motion justice committed reversible error by denying his motion to suppress certain statements made by him to the Maine State Police during their investigation of the case.
