On April 2, 1902, E. M. Henningsen and Tliorvald Olsen, copartners under the firm name and style *89of R. M. Henningsen & Co., entered into a written contract with W. C. Langfitt, Captain corps of engineers, United States army, engineer of the Thirteenth lighthouse district, for and on behalf of the United States, for the construction, equipment, and furnishing of a certain lighthouse, and two keepers’ residences, for the Mary Island lighthouse station of Alaska.
